Description
My camera basics course is the perfect choice for those who are just starting their journey into photography. Whether you are an enthusiastic hobbyist or are aiming to go pro, understanding your cameras capabilities are the most important learning step to give you the best possible creative control. This course has been designed to help you get the most from your camera and by the end of the course you will be confident using your camera on both priority modes and fully manual.
A camera is like an old English sports car, it needs the driver to take control and drive it for the best possible outcome. I hear of so many people buying a fantastic DSLR camera and are then disappointed with the results, I am here to make sure that doesn’t happen. The most important step in your photography journey starts right here, with this course. Setting the foundations correctly from the outset will only expedite your growth as a creative and technically competent photographer
My camera basics course doesn’t just cover the camera body. It also includes different lenses, their focal lengths and what they should be used for. I will explain what we mean by a fast, medium and slow lens. No camera basics course would be complete without explaining the exposure triangle to get you confident with fully manual. I will show you how to and when to use ISO, how we use aperture to create depth of field and how we use shutter speed to freeze action or create motion blur. Understanding the effects these settings create and how each has an impact on exposure are the fundamentals of photography. I will also be running through Aperture priority and Shutter priority modes and when we might want to use them. I will teach you how to photograph in different lighting conditions successfully and how to use your surroundings to enhance and improve your images, even what height you should be holding your camera to take the picture.
This not to be missed course is just £275.00 for four hours of intensive training. Are you ready to take the most important step in your photography journey?
